Accordion Bio Component

Step 1: Navigate to the page where you want to add the component. Click on "Drag components here" and click on + to add the component on page. 

Step 2: Search and select accordion bio component from dropdown list and then drag and drop it onto the desired location on the page.

Step 3: Once the component is added, you can configure it by selecting configure icon as showcased in below image.

Step 4: In the component configuration dialog author the required fields

Authoring Fields

Field name Description
Hide Expand/Collapse All Checkbox field if enabled Expand and collapse all labels will be hidden
Expand All PlaceHolder Placeholder text for Expand All Label
Collapse All PlaceHolder Placeholder text for Collapse All Label
Expand/Collapse Icon Dropdown field with two different option to display icon type (ie: Chevron, plus)

Step 5:Add Accordion bio item inside accordion bio container component

Search and select accordion bio item from dropdown list and then drag and drop it onto the page.

Step 6:Once the component is added, you can configure it by selecting configure icon as showcased in below image

Field name Description
Expand/Collapse Icon

Dropdown field with two different option to display icon (ie: Chevron, plus)
Image

Image can be authored from dam that needs to be displayed.
Alt Text Text authoring field to author alt text for image.
Anchor ID Text authoring field to provide anchor id, Authored id can be used any where on the page as a link, upon clicking on the link it will be redirected to current path.
Name  Text authoring richtext field to proved name of the item
Title Text authoring richtext field to author title for the accordion item
Bio Content Text authoring richtext field to author Bio content for the accordion item

Step 7: After authoring all the fields, publish the page as shown below.

  • Select BMS Resource Preview Activation from the dropdown.
  • Author can select appropriate title for the workflow and click on start workflow.
  • This will publish the page in preview environment and reviewers can review the page in preview instance.
